Cleaning Supervisor

What you'll do:

  • Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) delivery, monitor standards, and prioritise tasks
    • Assist in training staff on SLA requirements
    • Maintain efficient, timely cleaning across all areas, including daily, weekly, and periodic tasks
    • Represent Sodexo professionally, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues
    • Monitor and improve Cleaning KPIs through daily audits and corrective actions
    • Conduct monthly stock takes and manage inventory
    • Use cleaning chemicals safely per COSHH guidelines, with up-to-date safety data sheets and risk assessments
    • Operate cleaning equipment correctly after training; report faulty equipment immediately
    • Report accidents and near misses promptly
    • Keep cleaning stores tidy, equipment stored safely, and stock levels maintained
    • Comply with security protocols for materials, equipment, and premises
    • Uphold high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform compliance
    • Attend training and meetings to maintain and improve standards
    • Ensure the smooth operation of Sodexo cleaning services and strive for continuous improvement
    • Achieve SLA targets through regular inspections and walk rounds
    • Identify additional cleaning needs beyond standard scope
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulations
    • Accurately record attendance and manage staff scheduling for absences
    • Coordinate fair workload distribution and redeploy staff as needed
    • Take responsibility for cleaning designated areas
    • Promote effective team communication
    • Perform ad hoc duties, including supervision of weekend cleaners
    • Note: Responsibilities may evolve and include other related tasks

What you'll bring:

  • Industrial Cleaning
  • Supervisory experience
  • You’re happy working solo or teaming up with others
  • You’re flexible and ready to jump into whatever the day brings
  • You're a team player with good spoken and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety
