We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator with experience in a customer service / contact centre / reception or similar environment, strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and good Microsoft Office skills.
As the Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator you will be the first point of contact for customer, in person and over the phone, providing a welcoming, efficient and friendly service.
The Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator will handle a wide range of queries, from repairs and maintenance requests to rent accounts, housing benefits, and general enquiries. Your role is key to ensuring a smooth customer experience, offering accurate advice, managing appointments, and supporting various operational processes.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the reception area, coordinating with contractors and internal teams, and managing administrative tasks such as job tickets, work orders, and minor adaptations.
As part of the wider housing team, the Customer Service Advisor / Contact Centre Administrator will help log complaints, handle social media feedback, and contribute to delivering high-quality service across the board.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for customer service.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in a busy office / customer service / contact centre / reception or similar environment
• Experience of resolving customer queries
• A confident phone manner and strong communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle a variety of tasks
• Confident with Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
