We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff.At Gower College Swansea we are passionate about investing in our staff and looking after their wellbeing to ensure they feel supported in work and also at home.The role:Campus Engagement Assistant (2 posts)37 HoursFixed Term 37 Weeks (July 5th 2026)£20276.33 - 20708.28 Per Annum (Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £24,691 - £25,217)2 x Posts (Tycoch and Gorseinon)Key Responsibilities:Provide a platform for student feedback on the use and improvement of student areas and enrichment opportunities.Be a first responder to incidents or reports of conflict, using de-escalation and restorative approaches.Help students develop a sense of belonging by encouraging inclusive and representative activities across campuses.Provide support to all events and activities arranged by Learner Experience team colleagues: Learner Engagement and Personal Development Lead, GCS Active Wellbeing Lead, EDI Officer and the Safeguarding and Welfare Manager.Promote a working environment that is free from discrimination and where diversity is valued.About you:GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English qualification.Experience working with students or young people in an educational or youth/community setting.
