Information: Position:?Lead Security OfficerLocation:?London (EC2M) Pay Rate:?£15.91 per hour Hours:?60 hours per week Shifts:?Nights - Wednesday to Sunday 1900-0700 Job Requirements: SIA Licence required2 years Team Leader / Supervisor / Manager experience in the corporate sector or 5 years corporate security officer experience is requiredIT and Management skills requiredWillingness to learn and work with a teamExcellent communication both written & verbal and communication skillsReliable, Responsible and PunctualTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelBe calm under pressure - Have the presence of mind be able to defuse difficult situationsAble to work as part of a team as well as on your ownEnforcing policies and proceduresBe confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific dutiesBe able to provide all the documentation and vetting information?requested Job Responsibilities: Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiativeBe calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional mannerTo be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site as required by the customer.To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, and visitors to the site.To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to the security manager.Assist the Site Manger in all areas of his responsibility and maintain a close working relationship.Establish a thorough understanding of the site specification and monitor the frequencies of all activities ensuring they are current and in line with customers’ expectations. Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shiftConfident in writing incident and shift reportsThe ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiativeTo always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedure.
