Accounts Assistant
Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire
Salary: £25,000 – £32,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | Hybrid working

Responsibilities:
Processing and managing both sales and purchase ledgers

Preparing and processing supplier payments

Posting journals and assisting with reconciliations

Supporting month-end and year-end processes

Assisting with financial reporting

Maintaining and developing procedures within Sage 200

Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role

Good knowledge of financial processes, including sales and purchase ledger

Proficiency in financial software, ideally Sage

Strong Excel skills

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Numerate with a methodical approach

Experience with foreign exchange transactions and trade finance is desirable
