We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Manager to oversee the Ophthalmic day case ward, pre op and casualty. In this key role, you will manage operations and lead our dedicated staff, ensuring that we provide outstanding care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:Lead the Ophthalmology Eye ward, overseeing management and staff, to deliver exceptional patient care and drive efficient departmental operations
Supporting Leadership:Provide professional guidance and backing to the team, deputising for the Matron/Lead Nurse as needed to ensure seamless operations
Clinic Expertise:Participate in clinical activity across various specialties, working closely with doctors, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care
Professional Development:Foster practice and educational growth within the department, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Regulatory Compliance:Uphold the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other relevant regulatory bodies' standards, maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient and staff data in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998)
Resource Management:Ensure the effective and efficient use of physical and financial resources, driving departmental productivity and value
Innovation and Development:Lead or contribute to projects and developments related to ward setting, addressing nursing issues and enhancing service delivery
