As a Therapeutic Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in our MyST – My Support Team, leading and managing therapeutic practices to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children, young people, and families. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of therapeutic interventions, managing a team of dedicated professionals, and ensuring that our services are responsive, effective, and tailored to the needs of those we support.

Our Blaenau Gwent MyST community team is a well-established, experienced and high performing multi-disciplinary team, providing excellent mental health and therapeutic care to some of Blaenau Gwent’s most vulnerable children and young people. You will also be a part of our Regional, Gwent wide MyST Program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the team to deliver high-quality support and interventions.
• Develop and implement therapeutic strategies and plans that meet the needs of children, young people, and families.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make improvements as needed.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
• Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support.


About You:
You will have a background in and passion for therapeutic practice. You will be enthusiastic about making a positive impact and have excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. You will be committed to continuous improvement and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will be able to provide leadership and management to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the application and maintenance of our clinical model, its service standards and its impacts for the young people and their networks. You will work in close partnerships with all stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
