Are you a strategic finance professional ready to lead a groundbreaking transformation? We're seeking a Finance Business Partner to spearhead our evolution from traditional project-based funding to an innovative, product-centric operating model.
This is your chance to make a real impact-working at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Product to redesign how we fund, govern, and report on technology delivery. If you thrive on solving complex challenges and driving organizational change, this role offers the perfect blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
You'll be at the heart of our transformation, collaborating with senior leaders across multiple disciplines to build financial frameworks that enable agile, product-focused ways of working. Your expertise will shape new governance models, revolutionize budgeting processes, and create transparency that drives better decision-making across product lines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Financial Transformation
- Partner with Finance, Technology, and Product leaders to design a future-state operating model aligned with product-centric delivery
- Transition from project-level to product team funding models, considering CAPEX and OPEX implications
- Create financial governance frameworks that align with product domains and value streams
Drive Product-Based Financial Processes
- Develop budgeting and forecasting processes that track value vs. cost for product teams
- Align planning cycles with agile cadences and work closely with product managers
- Design reporting dashboards focused on product outcomes using Power BI, Excel, or Tableau
Champion Change Management
- Guide teams through the mindset shift from project to product delivery
- Co-create new ways of working with Portfolio Management, PMO, and Product leaders
- Support training and communication efforts to ensure successful adoption
Build Strategic Relationships
- Maintain strong partnerships across finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Influence senior leaders and remove blockers to product-centric operations
- Shape strategic initiatives and drive transparency across the organization
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven track record as a Finance Business Partner or Finance Transformation Lead in technology/digital environments
- Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ATT, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of project-to-product transformations and their financial implications
- Experience with Agile delivery models and Lean Portfolio Management
Technical Skills
- Strong financial modeling and reporting capabilities
- Experience designing or evolving funding models, particularly transitioning from project cost centres to product line funding
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau)
- Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills
Personal Attributes
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and drive clarity across diverse stakeholder groups
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence to influence and engage with senior stakeholders
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
