VAF112: PART-TIME CATERING ASSISTANTS (MAYFLOWER CAMPUS)
Based at: Mayflower Campus (Boston)
Available shift patterns include:
• Morning Shift (7:30am – 9:00am), Monday – Friday (£4,761 per annum)
• Afternoon Shift (4:00pm – 7:30pm), Monday – Friday (£11,111 per annum)
• Saturdays (9:00am – 2:00pm) (£3,174 per annum)
All above roles are 52 weeks per year contracts. Salaries are pro rata to £23,492 per annum.
Join our small team at the Mayflower Café, open to the public and college community. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key part in providing excellent service while supporting the café’s commercial and community goals.
You’ll work alongside the Cook to serve food and drinks, ensure the café remains clean and welcoming, and help deliver the high standards that our customers expect.
Main duties include:
• Serving snacks, drinks, and meals
• Clearing tables and maintaining hygiene standards
• Washing up and restocking supplies
• Supporting safe food service and complying with food safety regulations
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a positive attitude and great customer service skills
• Works well in a team and takes pride in doing a good job
• Is flexible and reliable with a willingness to learn
• Holds or is willing to gain a food hygiene qualification
