This is an exciting opportunity to join our school office. You must be articulate, well-presented and be flexible, with the ability to be organised, punctual and efficient in managing workloads and time effectively. Experience in a school administration role is essential, along with knowledge and expertise of using Microsoft Office and ideally experience of Bromcom or a similar system. You should have a good all round education, common sense, and be willing to get involved in all aspects of school life. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils and staff so the ability to be calm and tactful in difficult situations is essential. You need to be able to exercise absolute discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality both within and beyond the School. Our ideal candidate will have:Excellent communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, governors, pupils, contractors and 3rd party suppliers. At least 1 years’ experience of working in the school office environment. Proficient IT skills and practical experience in Word, Excel and email.A passion for working with children.The ability to work on own initiative. Attainment GCSE’s or equivalent, to include English and Maths at grade A-C.

HOURS: 12½ hours per week, term time plus training days. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 1.00am-3.30pm
SALARY: Grade 6, £13.05-£13.25 per hour/£7,282 - £7,398 per annum (actual salary) - pay award pending.
