Start Date : September 2025The Governing Body wish to appoint a number of progress coaches to work at Ysgol Nantgwyn to complement our existing teams across the school.
We are seeking highly committed and enthusiastic practitioners who can support predominantly with lower and middle school-age pupils however will be comfortable across the 3-16 age range of our school. The successful candidates will:
enjoy a challenge and has the determination to make a difference in providing the best for all children
establish good working relationships with children, acting as a positive role model
have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
have good interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly and constructively as part of a strong team
be committed to supporting the well-being of pupils, demonstrating empathy and warmth
possess a sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
be able to appreciate and support the role of other professionals
be prepared to participate in professional development and training opportunities
be able to work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure high quality learning takes place
always ensure confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
The closing date for applications is Monday 7th July 2025 at 9.00am with interviews taking place on Thursday 17th July 2025.PROTECTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS AT RISK IS A CORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SCHOOL AND COUNCIL.
