Crynodeb
The Governors of Newport are looking to appoint 2 Classroom Cover Supervisors, 32.5 hours per week, term time only. We are looking for an inspirational and motivated Cover Supervisors. The post is fixed-term, in the first instance, for 1 year from September 2025 - 31st August 2026. The candidate needs to have experience of working with different groups of children including those who are vulnerable/ALN. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom practice, have good interpersonal skills and be able to develop positive working relationships with young people. You will cover a range of subjects across the Key stages and be passionate about delivering a curriculum to meet the needs of our learners.
Job purpose:
The post holder is required to supervise lessons during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
