Job Description
To support the project manager in designing a modern Technology-enabled Care service that puts service users at the centre of the design, is high quality, efficient, safe and flexible. Crucially, the redesigned service will focus on prevention and self-management as well as providing appropriate and safe support/response in urgent situations.
The re-design of the service will use the Scottish approach to service design, explore and consider a more diverse service offering that will seek to provide a range of entry points to the service. This person-centred model will increase choice and appropriate support for service users and their families/carers.
Service users, carers and other key stakeholders will be actively engaged in the re-design process.
Responsibilities
To research and make recommendations for the redesign and implementation of new/improved technology-enabled care (TEC) services models, using the Scottish Approach to service redesign.
To review/revise/develop key documentation and reports as required.
To assist in identifying training needs and the development of training materials.
To undertake ad hoc tasks as required in support of the project implementation.
The Individual
Working knowledge of/interest in Technology-Enabled Care (Telecare, Community Alarms etc.)
Effective analytical, presentational and organisational skills.
Ability to collate and simplify complex information.
Ability to work under pressure
Flexibility
Ability to work on own initiative, with a minimum of supervision.
Prioritisation of tasks and co-operation with colleagues.
Effective personal organisational and time management skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Temporary for 1 year

Starting Salary: £30,405 (pro rata)
£16.13 per hour
18.125 hours per week
