Cover Supervisor – Flexible Role

Location: Secondary Schools in Herefordshire
Pay: £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

We’re looking for reliable, proactive, and experienced Cover Supervisors to join our team on a flexible basis.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise a class of 30–32 students during teacher absences

  
  

• Ensure students stay on task with pre-prepared work

  
  

• Take attendance and report any absences

  
  

• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, tidy learning environment

  
  Requirements

  To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ✅ 6+ months experience working with children in an educational setting

    
    

  • ✅ Strong behaviour and classroom management skills

    
    

  • ✅ A basic understanding of the National Curriculum

    
    

  • ✅ Confidence to manage a classroom independently

    
    

  • ✅ Passion for education and supporting young people

    
    

  • ✅ Flexibility to cover a range of subjects

    
    

  • ✅ Availability to work school hours (approx. 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
