Job Overview
-Maintain high standards of service continuity to ensure prompt delivery and collection of raw materials and finished products between B13 Warehouse and B2 production areas.
-Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the individual at regular intervals in order to meet changing operational needs of the business.
Main Duties
-To operate warehouse manual handling equipment to include high reach and counterbalance fork lift trucks, trailer tow tractors, ride on and push pallet trucks and pallet inverters to move, load, wrap and safely store palletised products on site.
What we are looking for
-Support shift cover for team holiday/sickness
-Escalate any individual or team issues to Distribution & Logistics Team leader
-Patricipate in scheduled and ad hoc Mitie Tool Box Talks .
-Participate in GSK MyLearning and Mitie Learning Hub training requirements and ensure 100% compliance to KPI
-Carry out any other reasonable requests
-Flexible approach to working environment
-Ability to communicate effectively and foster good working relationships both internally and with client
-Ability to perform well under pressure and independent of supervision
