Summary

They are seeking an experienced Production/Workshop Manager to oversee a diverse range of machining talent on the shop floor.
The company operate by producing precision products for numerous industries throughout the UK and around the world, including proto-typing and product design.
Duties:-
• Oversee a team of up 20 people across various disciplines
• Undertake training and development of staff members
• Manage the engineering and tooling functions
• Oversee product quality
• Keep shop floor presentable and ensure H&S processes being followed
• Monitor maintenance and equipment
• Occasional customer liaison when required
• Promote Continuous Improvement
• Responsible for Quality Performance
• Participate in Sales, Quality, Engineering and Production Meetings
You will ideally be a team player, comfortable working alongside senior management and workforce alike.
You will oversee target setting and the meeting of these, by motivating a varied workforce.
Benefits:-
• IRO £40,000-£50,000p/a negotiable depending on experience
• Hours of work 9.00-5.00 Mon-Thurs and Fri 9.00-12.00 although the job will require flexibility
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
