Our well-established client, who have been trading for over 40 years, are currently recruiting for a Service Department Scheduler to join their close-knit team on a full-time permanent basis within their Quedgeley, Gloucester office.
You will become an integral member of the team and will be responsible for the scheduling of 5 Service Engineers across the Southwest to effectively book and coordinate appointments and manage the out of hours rota. You must have the ability to align schedules with business goals, allocate personnel efficiently, and ensure smooth workflows.

Responsibilities:
-Answering the phone, replying to emails, and communicating with clients in a timely manner.
-Providing accurate and up-to-date timings and scheduled dates to clients and engineers making sure any SLAs are delivered.
-Prioritising urgent call outs over non-urgent appointments.
-Creation and email distribution of the ‘on call out of hours’ rota managing regular updates / changes to the out of hours messaging service.
-Moving appointments around to fit the engineer calendar and notifying clients and engineers of any changes.
-Reminding clients by phone or email that they have an appointment coming up.
-Updating records and calendars after appointments have been made.
-Email engineer’s reports and / or certification to customers, including any remedial works quotes.
-Departmental invoicing after completion of engineer’s work.
-General Admin task required by the department.
Whilst previous office experience is a bonus it’s not essential. Our client is very happy to consider candidates who are keen and willing with the desire to grow within an administrative role. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:45pm, Friday 8am – 4pm with an hour for lunch
Salary: Highly competitive depending on experience + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays free parking and annual salary reviews
