Develop a culture where safe and high-quality patient/citizen centred care is consistently delivered by those working in nursing with a focus on innovation and continuous improvements in the quality of service delivery. Ensure that effective risk management and systems of governance are in place for nursing (clinical, financial, staff, audit and information) through proactive management of the services. Ensuring that the Health and Care Standards are understood and embedded within service delivery, including communication,delivery and monitoring of ongoing performance. Responsible for establishing and maintaining systems for assessing families/patients and nurses views on the quality of services provided and for involving patients/clients, their families/carers. Work in collaboration to introduce the necessary changes for implementing the Duty of Quality. create a culture of quality within areas of responsibility focus on improving the quality of health services and outcomes for the local, regional, All Wales population on an ongoing basis and actively monitor progress of improvement and routinely share this information with the local, regional, All Wales population Lead the on-going development of PROMs (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) and PREMs (Patient Reported Experience Measures) in the services within their responsibility.
