About the role of Assistant Estimator
You will be working alongside experienced estimators and contributing to a variety of projects based in the Kent area. You will be assisting project plans, gathering cost data and generating quotations. You will be working from their office in Kent. They work within the Industrial and commercial sectors and are working on projects from £10m-£50m
Requirements for Assistant Estimator
- Experience of tendering processes and commercial principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in Industrial or commercial projects.
- Familiarity with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX etc)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods and project phases
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
