Join Our Nottingham based Engineering Team at The Compleat Food Group!

Our Engineering department is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Engineer to join our brilliant day shift
team in Nottingham.

The role of the Shift Engineer is primarily to support the running of the factory by resolving breakdowns and by delivering
maintenance and departmental KPIs. Secondly they are also required to drive improvement across the site in good Engineering
Practice, and performance.

Working Hours & Salary:

The working hours in this role are 4 on 4 off (Day Shift: 6am – 6pm)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Key Accountabilities:

* Responsible for all reactive and proactive maintenance work, whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible
standards across the whole of the site.
* Expected to carry out all maintenance and repairs across the factory, in both a low care and high care environment.
* Attend to breakdowns when necessary, ensuring that there is always a rapid response, and that plant equipment and machinery
breakdown time is minimised. Always endeavour to reduce downtime of site plant and machinery.
* Carry out repairs to plant and equipment effectively and efficiently, either alone and/or as part of a team.
* To carry out PPM onsite whilst always ensuring that there is a pro-active approach to planned maintenance and a high PPM
output.
* Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance.
* Deliver improvement work on machinery and site improvement work
* Ensure Engineering time is managed effectively and that that there is low Engineering down-time
* Improve OEE.



Skills and Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years maintenance engineering experience
* Skilled Engineer with formal qualifications.
* ONC minimum, NVQ 3 preferred
* Engineering knowledge both electrical and mechanical
* Manufacturing Industry experience – Industry considered: Packaging, Food, FMCG.
* Be able to in a fast paced environment (Maintenance environment preferred)
