Mitie Security - Security Officer
Mitie Security is looking for a security officer to take on the exciting responsibility of working with our partner within the defence sector. Ideal applicants will be hard working, motivated individuals, looking for a dynamic workplace that rewards their efforts. For those who want to deliver the exceptional every day and go the extra mile, this role is for you.
Hours: 36.75 per week. 4 week shift pattern 2 weeks days 2 week nights. 12 hour shifts. Soon to change to 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Location: King George Hospital, Ilford
Qualifications:
-SIA Licensed
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Strong IT Skills, with knowledge of the base MS Office Suite
-Good report writing skills
-Ability to de-escalate and manage conflict
-Be flexible and adaptable to a changing workplace
-Ability to obtain (with help) SC Clearance
-Knowledge on the mental health act (preferred but not essential)
Main Duties:
As a security officer you will be responsible for the access and egress of staff, contractors and visitors. You will be responsible for showing a visible security presence on site by patrolling and covering A&E . You will respond and assist with aggressive patients/members of the public.

There will be opportunities to work on other sites within this contract.
