Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LARC Nurse to provide high-quality reproductive healthcare, with a focus on counselling, administering, and managing long-acting reversible contraceptive methods. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sexual and reproductive health, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive counselling on contraceptive options, with an emphasis on LARC methods including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Assess patient medical history and eligibility for LARC methods. Perform insertions and removals of LARC devices, adhering to clinical protocols and safety guidelines. Monitor for complications or side effects and provide appropriate follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care. Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives related to reproductive health services. Qualifications: Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license [State-specific] BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Proven clinical experience in womens health, family planning, or reproductive healthcare Competency in LARC insertion and removal procedures or willingness to be trained Preferred: BSN or higher nursing degree Certification in reproductive health or family planning (e.g., from AWHONN or NCC) Experience working in community health, family planning clinics, or OB-GYN settings Key Skills: Excellent patient education and counselling skills Proficiency in EMIS systems and clinical documentation Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment Strong organizational and time management abilities Cultural competency and sensitivity in providing care to diverse populations
