You will have a passion for working creatively and flexibly with children and families who are identified as being at the Edge of Care. Your team manager will provide you with regular supervision, including reflective case supervision, and support you with the most important decisions. You will have a limited caseload allowing the opportunity for intensive support, direct work and creativity.
We would particularly welcome applications from workers with a working experience in specific areas including mental health, substance misuse or domestic violence.
Keeping Families Together is a team that supports children and Families from pre-birth up to the age of 16. The team have been previously awarded the gold award in the Social Worker of The Year Awards. The team offer a range of restorative interventions to encourage family decision making and responsibility for their children and young people by negotiating and discussing support within their family network to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
This is a seven-day service (not including Bank Holidays) and staff undertake some evening and weekend work to provide this.
Staff receive a wide range of training to develop their role in supporting families.andnbsp;
