Location: Mansfield, Shirebrook - NG20
Daily Rate: £180 - £230
Start Date: Sept 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Contract: Long Term to Permanent
Are you a passionate and creative EYFS teacher looking for a supportive, forward-thinking environment? Long Term Futures are seeking a Reception Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2025 in a vibrant two-form entry primary school in Mansfield, Shirebrook. This role is ideal for those who have completed their ECT induction and want to thrive in a nurturing early years setting.
The Role:
- Take full responsibility for a Reception class
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-led lessons that promote development
- Observe, track, and assess pupils' progress
- Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment
- Work closely with the EYFS team, SENCO, and families to support each child's journey
- Maintain safeguarding and behaviour standards
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with completed ECT induction
- Experience teaching in EYFS
- Creative and nurturing teaching style
- Confident managing routines and individual learning needs
- Strong communication skills with staff and parents
- Knowledge of Read Write Inc or similar phonics programmes
