Responsibilities As a 360 Driver/Excavator Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Loading stockpiles onto crushers or articulated dump trucks (ADTs).
- Breaking materials as required to facilitate project progress.
- Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all site safety protocols.
- Conducting routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with site teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a valid CPCS or NPORS card (NPORS must include CSCS Accreditation).
- A Safety Critical Medical certificate issued within the last two years.
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Day-to-Day Your daily activities will include:
- Operating 360 excavators to load materials onto crushers or ADTs.
- Monitoring and managing the excavation process to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Identifying and addressing any operational issues with machinery.
- Coordinating with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
