Are you a skilled and certified telehandler driver looking for immediate work? We're seeking a reliable operative to join our team on a busy new build housing site in Howden. If you're available to step in and help keep our project running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
The Role:
As a telehandler driver, you'll be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across our housing development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to move various construction materials, including bricks, timber, roofing, and general supplies.
- Delivering materials to different trades and work areas on site as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.
- Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of incoming deliveries, coordinating with transport and site personnel.
- Performing daily machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure optimal and safe operation.
- Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies, always prioritizing a safe working environment.
- Communicating effectively with site management, banksmen, and fellow operatives to ensure seamless coordination.
Requirements:
- Has proven experience as a Telehandler Operative, ideally on new build housing sites.
- Valid CPCS ticket.
- Possesses excellent operating skills and a strong awareness of their surroundings in a busy environment.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Is reliable, punctual, and has a proactive approach to work.
- Is committed to maintaining high safety standards on site.
