The Role – Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will support students across Key Stage 3, 4, and A-Level, helping to raise attainment in Mathematics. Working closely with experienced Maths teachers, you will:
• Deliver targeted support in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons.
• Help students build confidence in key mathematical concepts.
• Support intervention programmes aimed at exam preparation and problem-solving skills.
• Develop your classroom management and communication abilities.
This role offers excellent exposure to teaching and is ideal for graduates considering a PGCE or other teacher training route in the near future.
What We’re Looking For:
• A 2:1 or above in Mathematics or a STEM-related degree from a top university.
• A passion for education and a genuine interest in teaching.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence working with secondary-aged pupils.
• A proactive, adaptable attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to working full-time from September 2025.
