The University’s Procurement Department is looking for two Deputy Category Managers to support the Category Manager in delivering its key objectives by providing strategic leadership in categories assigned:

- Estates
- Global Recruitment and Marketing

One role is a permanent role and one is fixed term for 2 years. Please indicate when applying which category and whether you would consider permanent or fixed term.
You will have:

- Have an understanding of the operational procurement processes and their operation throughout the procurement cycle from analysing the requirement, procurement planning, tendering and contract set-up and review.
- Knowledge in public sector procurement and the economics of procurement and markets.
- Experience of procurement governance best practice, leading practice processes for sourcing, supplier management and category management.
- Stakeholder management within the procurement cycle context.
