As a Security Officer with ISS, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment, protecting colleagues, visitors, property, and assets 24/7/365.
You’ll be part of a professional and dedicated security team committed to delivering exemplary service at all times.
Our estate is staffed around the clock, and during daytime hours, Team Leaders are on site across estate buildings to provide supervision, direction, and support.
You’ll also receive structured handovers between night and day shifts, supervised and supported by our Security Team Leader and Security Supervisor, ensuring you’re always informed, equipped, and ready to succeed.

The Role
Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
Prevent any unauthorised access
Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
Work as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
About You
Previous security experience
A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
A team player with good customer service skills
New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
