Job Title: Inclusion Mentor Secondary Alternative Provision
Location: Bexley, South East London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £95£110 per day | Term-time only | Full-time

Rikama Education is delighted to be recruiting for a full-time Inclusion Mentor to join an Outstanding secondary alternative provision in Bexley this September. This is a rewarding, long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position.

We're looking for a strong, caring, and resilient individual to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), emotional challenges, and behavioural needs in a smaller, highly supportive setting.

Key Highlights:

Long-term Inclusion Mentor role in an Outstanding secondary provision

Daily rate of £95£110 (depending on experience)

September 2025 start | Full-time | Temp to Perm opportunity

Based in Bexley, SE London accessible via rail & bus

Work in small, structured classes with excellent TA support

Regular CPD and mentoring from senior inclusion leaders

Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Providing daily learning and emotional support to students (1:1 and small groups)

Supporting pupils' reintegration into mainstream school settings where appropriate

Monitoring behaviour and applying positive strategies and behaviour plans

Promoting emotional wellbeing, routines, and social skills

Communicating with parents and families to ensure cohesive support

Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams

Keeping student records and contributing to written reports and evaluations

Occasionally accompanying colleagues on home visits

Being a consistent, positive role model and mentor to students

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Is a graduate (psychology, education, or related field preferred)

Has experience working with SEN, inclusion, or in a pastoral role (preferred)

Demonstrates emotional intelligence, confidence, and adaptability

Is calm under pressure and committed to helping every student succeed

Is available to work full-time from September 2025
