Summary

A vacancy has arisen for a Healthcare support worker to work in the Urology Department. You must demonstrate a mature and enthusiastic attitude, excellent communication skills, be committed to delivering high standards of patient care and able to work as part of a team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an exceptional team of motivated, forward thinking and enthusiastic outpatient Urology nurses. While learning from your colleagues, you will be an integral part of that team and must have a flexible approach to meet the needs of the department and understand the need for confidentiality.













Duties will include assisting doctors and specialist nurses in clinics. There will be a requirement for you to perform various clinical procedures such as flow rates, and bladder scanning.

You should be well organized and able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. The ability to liaise confidently with patients, visitors and staff from all disciplines is essential, as is evidence of basic literacy, numeracy and computing skills.
