Quality and Compliance Lead
Salary up to £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, based on experience
This is an office based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire with flexibility to travel across the region

We are looking for a Quality and Compliance Lead to join our team, you’ll ensure we continue delivering care that’s professional, reliable, and person-centred. This is a new position where you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for Oxford Aunts' Clients by ensuring the service consistently meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. As a Quality and Compliance Lead you’ll collaborate with care managers and key office staff to continually drive best practices and ensure the continued provision of professional, reliable, and person-centred care.

What you’ll be doing:

As Quality and Compliance Lead, you’ll be responsible for supporting and enhancing the delivery of care quality and regulatory compliance across all services within Oxford Aunts. Working closely with the Care Management team, you'll provide hands-on support, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring services meet all relevant standards.

You'll manage and coordinate clinical audits within services, ensuring compliance with current guidance from national and local bodies; with the goal of achieving and maintaining at least a "Good" rating from the CQC. As part of the role, you'll produce regular reports for the senior management team, highlighting potential risks and recommending appropriate actions. You'll monitor regulatory quality ratings and assessments, implementing improvement plans where necessary to drive continuous improvement.

You’ll have:
- Experience in a quality, compliance, or governance role within the health & social care sector
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and how they apply to domiciliary and live-in care services
- A good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and the CQC fundamental standards
- Excellent reasoning skills - ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed judgements
- Effective leadership & communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- A passion for person-centred care and a commitment to delivering the highest quality service
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
- Driving licence with access to your own vehicle

Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care Management
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Qualification or equivalent in Quality Assurance
- Experience in policy writing and process development
