Young Peoples Substance Misuse Practitioner - 12 Month Fixed Term (maternity leave)
Location: Orange Box, Halifax, HX1 1AF
Working hours: 37 hours per week, working pattern is flexible Monday to Friday 9am-5pm but can included some evenings.
About the role...
We are currently looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Young Persons Substance Misuse Practitioner to join the Branching Out Team in Calderdale. We provide specialist drug and alcohol treatment and support for young people aged 10 – 21 years.
You must enjoy working with Young People, be able to work flexibly, understand the challenges they face and be able to deliver interventions and activities that empower and enable them to build resilience to substance misuse. This role will be working predominantly in the Upper Valley although we do have a town centre base in Halifax.

You must enjoy working with young people/have experience working with young people.
You must be able to work flexibly.
You must understand the challenges that young people face and be able to deliver interventions and activities that empower and enable them to build resilience to substance misuse.
You must have a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to be considered for this role.
