Our client is currently looking for Harvest Laboratory staff to assist them with the upcoming current season running from Mid August until the end of September.
The main purpose of this role will be to test samples of produce, recording results to ensure of a smooth operation of the product to site.
Main Duties (not limited to):
Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of senior staff
Analyse samples and data using laboratory information management systems
Assist in maintaining accurate records of experiments and results
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality control measures are met
Raising any quality concerns with management
Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
General Administrative duties
Knowledge/Experience requirements:
Previous experience working in a laboratory environment is desirable (although not essential)
PC Literate
Excellent communication skills
Competent in mathematical calculations for data analysis
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data
Have good problem solving skills
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Successful candidates will be expected to carry out work over the weekend, and or some evenings depending on demand, Overtime and enhanced rates are payable.
Minimum 40 hours per week.
