Academic Appointments are working alongside an 'Outstanding education’ (Ofsted Oct 2019) for young people aged 11-19 years with severe, complex or profound and multiple learning difficulties, based in Pontefract, to recruit a bank of Teaching Assistants.
Ongoing, long term role.

A recognised school for excellence in dealing with challenging behaviour require experienced Teaching Assistants.
This role is to work alongside KS3 and KS4 students who have additional needs including Autism, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, medical and physical difficulties.
The staff here are passionate about supporting their pupils, as they believe every child deserves the best possible education to enable them to make good progress and achieve their full potential.
Requirements
✔Experienced in managing challenging behaviour
✔Positive handling experience or course attended
✔2x references from educational establishments
✔A valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
