Job Opportunity: Class 2 HGV Driver – Join a Proper Family Business!
Vic Graham & Son Ltd is a well-established, family-run business that has been supplying quality potatoes to the fish and chip shop trade for over 50 years. We’re currently looking for a fit and enthusiastic individual to join our hardworking team.
This round has grown beyond the limits of a 7.5-tonne vehicle — to keep things running smoothly and safely, we’re now upgrading it to a Class 2 (Category C) HGV.
This is NOT just a driving job!
We need someone who’s ready to get stuck in — literally. As part of your role, you’ll be:
Driving a Class 2 HGV on a well-established round
Manually lifting and delivering 25kg sacks of potatoes into customer shops (trolleys are available, but some lifting is required)
Building strong face-to-face relationships with long-standing customers
Supporting sales and providing excellent service at every drop
What we’re looking for:
Physically fit and healthy
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
A people person who can build a good rapport with customers
Full Class 2 licence, CPC, and digital tachograph card (essential)
Sales experience (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
