Crynodeb
We are seeking an experienced Sawyer to operate bridge saws and CNC cutting equipment for cutting granite, quartz, ceramic, and natural stone slabs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate bridge saws & CNC saws, and manual tools to cut stone slabs to specification
Inspect stone slabs for flaws, cracks, and accuracy before and after cutting
Load and unload materials using lifting equipment or by hand (where safe)
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area
Collaborate with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of orders
Perform regular maintenance checks on saw equipment
Requirements:
Previous experience as a sawyer in the stone or construction industry
knowledge of stone types (granite, quartz, marble, ceramic)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements
Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials safely
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Forklift licence
