We’re looking for a dedicated Female Complex Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in the Cannock area, where you'll have the opportunity to support one individual client in a truly meaningful way.In this unique role, you’ll be working closely with a person living with Motor Neurone Disease, helping them maintain their independence and live life to the fullest – both at home and out in the community.You’ll be part of a small, friendly team providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, depending on the shift. You must be comfortable with pets as there are several cats in the clients home.
⏰Your contracted hours will be: Waking nights - Average of 25 hours per week - 10PM-8AM (Week 1: Monday, Wednesday & Friday - Week 2: Saturday and Sunday)In return Salvere Support offers:

Who we are looking for:You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with experience of:
Personal care, support to manage incontinence, and measures to maintain a good skin state.- Catheter Care.
- Moving and Handling (including hoisting and position changes).
- Domestic duties (Laundry, cleaning, cooking nutritious meals).
- Gastrostomy care and administration of prescribed feed, fluid and medication.
- Monitoring of general health and well being, and daily record keeping.
- Proving support around meal times due to the clients dysphagia
You should also have:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.
