A wonderful family based in Düsseldorf, Germany is looking for an international nanny to care for their school-aged child and a newborn expected in July 2025. They are seeking an experienced, caring professional who can manage all general childcare duties and work closely with a hands-on mum, following her lead and supporting the family’s routine. While the household includes two housekeepers and a chef, the nanny will be expected to prepare meals for the children when needed and contribute to creating a safe, engaging environment.
The family travels regularly to the Maldives and the USA, so the nanny must be willing and able to travel with them. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Russian or German would be a bonus. A valid first aid qualification is a must for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 40 hours per week
Accommodation: TBC
Duties include:
cooking healthy meals for the children
following morning and afternoon routines
changing nappies
sterilising bottles of milk for the baby
helping the older child with homework
teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
creating activities and playdates
preparing and administering healthy food for the children
preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
cleaning and washing up after children’s meals
washing and ironing children’s clothes
reporting every activities and issue to the parents
A driver is required for this role, and the candidate should be confident driving both automatic and manual vehicles. The family is seeking someone who can start immediately.
