Our client requires a Experienced Machine Operative to work at their site based in Tamworth. Possible permanent opportunities following successful trial period. As a Machine Operative your primary focus will be to ensure the continued operation of the machine to produce company's products. You will be working in conjunction with the Production and Sales Team. Full training provided.
Duties include: Setting up and running a Machine based on written instructions via works order sheets. Identifying faults during set up and fixing of faults relative to the order. Completing paperwork & inputting accurately on the system. Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity Performing regular quality inspections and correcting quality issues as soon as they arise. Ensuring available stocks of raw materials to maintain productivity Ensuring work area is clean and tidy at all times Reporting defective machine parts Requirements: Good numeracy and literacy skills for setting the machines and understanding paperwork Basic understanding of machinery and production process Positive work ethic Positive attitude towards work and life Reliability Experience in machine operating would be preferable Our client offers: Monday to Friday 2 shift rotation 0600-1400/1400-2200 £15.00 per hour Free onsite parking Uniform provided Canteen facilities Benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited Include: Online payslips Weekly pay Pension contribution 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
