What skills and experience we're looking for

• Will support with wider school administrative tasks, including attendance, admissions and
• communication with families
• The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and professional Administrative Assistant who:

• Has a recognised qualification or relevant experience in administration or office-based work
• Has excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Will be confident in managing calls, emails, and front-of-house responsibilities in a calm and professional manner
• Will provide a warm, friendly welcome to all pupils, families, visitors and staff, reflecting the school’s nurturing and inclusive ethos
• Is confident using a range of IT systems and can maintain accurate records with attention to detail
• Will demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Will be an active member of our school team and contribute positively to our Christian ethos and values
• Will work calmly under pressure and be flexible in responding to the changing needs of a busy school office

The main base for the role will be Summerseat Methodist Primary School but the post holder may beasked to work more widely within the school or Trust.

This post involves working with children, young people or vulnerable adults and is therefore exemptfrom the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
