Salary: Scale 3 point 5, £24,790.00 FTE pro rata is £9,455.79
Hours: 16.5, Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 3:30pm, 5.5 hours per day term time
Contract: Permanent

We are looking to appoint a suitably skilled, experienced, well-motivated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
This post is part time, term time (16.5 hours spread over 3 days) to support SEND children with complex needs in our resource unit classroom. We require an individual who works well as part of a team and as an individual, using their own initiative and expertise. You should be a caring individual with a positive, creative and flexible attitude to effectively support young learners and promote effective learning experiences as well as being someone who will positively engage in the wider aspects of the school.
Previous experience is essential and the successful candidate will have experience with or sound knowledge of teaching and supporting individuals with a range of special needs. You must have experience of 1:1 working, effectively supporting across the curriculum and be willing to work closely with external professionals. You, yourself must have sound literacy and numeracy skills, good organisational skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with parents.
