Position: School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Status: Permanent
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Salary: Grade B point 3-4 (£24,027 - £24,404 pro rata per annum)
Required from: September 2025
The Governing Board of St Matthew’s Primary School Bolton are seeking to appoint a suitable School Meals Supervisory Assistant to work in their successful 2 form entry, multicultural school.
The successful candidates must be sympathetic to the values of a church school serving a multicultural community and be committed to raising achievement and developing our children holistically.
The successful candidates will:
- Be hardworking and able to work as a member of a team to ensure the children are safe, happy and healthy at lunchtime;
- Be able to supervise the children in the dinner hall, playground and classrooms during wet weather;
- Enjoy the company of children, listening and talking to them, sorting out problems and engaging with them in playground and indoor games
- Have a good level of English and Maths;
- Have a commitment to be involved in every aspect of our school life
- Have a great sense of humour and enjoys working as a team player
