We have a fantastic opportunity for an M&E Sales Executive to join our team at the Doubletree by Hilton London Kensington. This is a prestigious 4-Star property in bustling Kensington
What will I be doing?
As the Meetings and Events Sales Executive you will be responsible for coordinating Meeting & Events enquiries and bookings. You will maximise the profitability of the meeting and events operations through effective negotiation with clients. You will work closely with the Cluster Sales Manager and General Managers to ensure that we maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports organisational values. Properties you will work across include both the DoubleTree by Hilton – Kensington and Adam House Serviced Offices, but there may be times when you support other Heeton properties.
Restaurants
- Review daily pick-up across all 3 outlets
- Ensure the inbox is being well managed by the support team
- Guide the support team to close incoming enquiries
- Update information on relevant 3rd party websites
- Prepare forecasts for the venue every week
Meetings & Events
- Update Delphi with all relevant event information
- Update hotel brand and listing across all 3rd party platforms
- Proactively follow up on outstanding enquiries
- Follow a response time of 2 hours
- Set up appropriate payment terms for each client
- Secure event details on time and share them with the relevant departments
- Lead the F&B meeting to share updates on promotions, strategies
- Ensure budgets are being met as set out before the hotel re-opening
- Prepare action plans to reach the budget and strategies to attract business in need periods
Adam House
- Ensure we are listed on relevant 3rd party channels to secure the right level of meeting business
- Promote Adam House meeting rooms to all our existing client base so that we have the right mix of clients for each venue
- Cross-sell spaces based on client requirements of location and budget
- Assist the General Manager to get the right event details on time from the client and relay to operations
- Secure payments in advance
- Carry out forecasting for the venue every week
