The Governing Body at Meadowbank Special School are seeking to appoint an organised and professional Office Manager who will be part of our happy and hard-working team. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with a track record of working within a school environment. In return we can offer the opportunity to play a key role in our growing school, supported by an experienced senior management team who will ensure the opportunity for professional development.
This role requires leadership, commitment and enthusiasm within a collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will possess the ability to prioritise & multitask and be able to develop nurturing relationships with all stakeholders.
This exciting role will support a number of key areas of responsibility across the school:
• Managing a small team of administration staff and Estates Manager.
• Managing the recruitment process including all pre-employment checks, including induction
• Finance tasks supporting the Headteacher
• Absence management across the school
• Provide high level management support for the Senior Leadership Team
• Manage all of our service contracts and the procurement of complex agreements
