Hours/weeks: 37 hours per week – Permanent - Full TimeThe Milford Academy is a Single Academy Trust (SAT) Primary School situated in Clifton on the outskirts of Nottingham. The school has approximately 455 children on roll including a Nursery unit and from September 2025 a SEN Unit. This is an exciting time at the academy as with the recent appointment of a new School Business Manager, they are seeking to appoint a forward-thinking, proactive and motivated individual to the new position of Assistant School Business Manager. Together they will advance the academy’s strategic direction forward helping the school and its children to aim high and achieve. The role will involve – Assisting the School Business Manager Managing the school office Assisting with budget setting, monitoring and management Human Resources GDPR & Data Protection Payroll Procurement Health & Safety Contract Management We are looking for a professional person who will contribute to the efficient running of our school at a strategic level. We are keen that the right person wants to help move the school forward with continuous improvements and brings fresh ideas, flexibility, energy and passion to this new role. Because the role will involve report writing and presenting, communicating with stakeholders, producing presentations and dealing with budgets and finance, the successful candidate will hold GSCE passes in both Maths and English and have a firm grasp on using Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge and experience of working in a primary school setting would be advantageous but not essential.
