We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Lingfield Park Racecourse. If you take pride in maintaining high standards, thrive in a team environment, and have a passion for excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will lead the cleaning team to ensure that all public and operational areas of the racecourse are spotless and well-presented for racedays, meetings, and events. This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills, eye for detail, and proactive approach will play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support all cleaning staff to deliver a first-class cleaning service
Monitor all cleaning activities and review work schedules as required
Order and manage stock of cleaning materials and supplies
Ensure all team members follow Health and Safety policies and procedures
Promptly respond to cleaning requests from guests and departments
Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues within assigned areas
Safely store and operate tools, equipment, and cleaning machines
Post caution signs and manage foot traffic as needed during cleaning operations
Person Specification
Qualifications
GCSEs or equivalent
Skills & Attributes
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong customer service focus and a positive attitude
Self-motivated, honest, and trustworthy
Able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
Experience supervising a team in a similar environment is desirable
