Dayshift Production Operatives – Woodyard Environment
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 – 18:00 (42 hours paid)
Start Date: asap
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, has recently expanded to three sites, creating new opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team.
About the Role:
You’ll be working as a Production Operative within a busy woodyard environment, supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times. This is a temporary ongoing position which may lead to permanent employment for the right person.
Required Criteria:
We’re looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following:
Good understanding of spoken and written English (essential for Health & Safety compliance)
Strong attention to detail
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Basic machine setting knowledge
Excellent attendance and timekeeping
A willingness to learn and take on new skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
Desirable Skills (Not Essential, But Beneficial):
Experience in any of the following areas would offer a strong advantage:
Beamsaw operation
Multi-Spindle moulder
Industrial paint line
Cross-cutting (X/Cut) machinery
3 and 5-axis CNC machines
Combi-lift operation (valid accredited certificate required)
Training & Progression:
