Summary
Key Responsibilities
• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Medication Support: Prompting or administering medication in line with care plans and MAR sheets (including electronic MAR systems).
• Meal Preparation: Preparing meals and supporting clients with eating and drinking as required.
• Household Tasks: Light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
• Mobility Assistance: Supporting clients with moving around the home safely, including use of equipment if necessary.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and reporting any changes in clients’ physical or emotional health to the Care Coordinator or Manager promptly.
• Record Keeping: Accurately completing all required documentation, including visit logs and digital/electronic records.
