Based in Bingley, M & M Yorkshire Stone Products is a Yorkshire stone quarry, which has been established since 1993.
We currently have a position available for a highly skilled, Banker Stone mason with experience to join our team.
The main role of this position is to hand-craft products from stone extracted from our quarry. As a part of our team, you will be contributing to producing high-end, custom-made natural Yorkshire stone products supplied nationwide.
Duties include but is not limited to using hand tools, chisels, power tools etc to effectively engrave and shape stone to customers’ requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
The ideal candidate must be physically fit, able to work under pressure in an outdoor/workshop setting and be self-motivated. Must have the ability to read and understand technical drawings. Although working as a part of our team, it is essential that you must possess a ‘can do’ attitude and have meticulous attention to detail.
The role we have to offer is Monday to Friday 7.30am -5pm, and alternate Saturdays 7.30-1pm. Use of own vehicle is preferred due to location.
The rate of pay is negotiable depending upon experience.
